Squanacook River Afternoon Trip

Fished sections of the Squanacook and Williard Brook. Vicinity West Townsend, Townsend and West Groton, MA.

Williard Brook/MA 119 Bridge (North of West Townsend) - From the bridge upstream to the bend. Small pockets and small pools.

Squanacook/MA 119 Bridge (VFW post near bridge) - Bridge downstream in bank access areas. Static to slow moving water with a good bit of fallen trees and brush.

Squanacoook/MA225 Bridge (West Groton) - Bridge, dam pool and downstream 40 yards. Dam fast moving pool and pockets and quick moving ripples beneath dam.
